ABOUT LES ÉDITIONS ATMA

Books to help you
know yourself better.

Supporting personal development and spiritual growth is the mission at the heart of Les Éditions ATMA Internationales.

Through books, we aim to create space for reflection, discovery and connection with ourselves.

OUR STORY

A personal journey.
A story to share.

ATMA began with Jacques Martel’s own journey: a deep interest in communication and a search for self-awareness that led him to explore personal development.

From his first workshops to his writing projects, this journey gradually took the form of a publishing house devoted to personal development and spiritual growth.

  1. 1990

    The first gatherings

  2. 1996

    ATMA takes shape

The Centre de Croissance becomes ATMA Inc., marking a new stage in the development of its activities.

  3. 1998

    A landmark book

April sees the publication of Le grand dictionnaire des malaises et des maladies, the result of a writing project begun in 1991.

THE SPIRIT OF ATMA

A name that invites us
to look within.

The name ATMA comes from Sanskrit and refers to the soul. For our publishing house, it evokes self-discovery and spiritual growth.

The seven-pointed star

In ATMA’s symbolism, this star represents the connection with the inner teacher and spiritual awareness. It expresses the intention behind our work: to invite everyone to explore their inner world.
